A funeral celebrant is a qualified person who leads a funeral ceremony. A ceremony which is an alternative to a traditional church service. The ceremony can be held anywhere, such as your local Crematorium, Natural Burial Ground or Social Club. In a celebrant led funeral, we aim to honour the life of your loved one. The emphasis is on what they were like as a person and how they lived their life. Don’t think this eliminates religion because it doesn’t. You have the choice.
